IGLTA’s 2022 Buyer/Supplier Marketplace is produced in collaboration with Jacobs Media Group, parent company of Travel Weekly, to deliver an elevated marketplace experience.

The IGLTA Buyer/Supplier Marketplace is an appointment-only trade show that matches Buyers and Suppliers for meetings based on mutual business interests and requests. Suppliers sit at designated tables and Buyers travel between appointments. Due to the limited time of each appointment, this opportunity provides the Buyer and Supplier the chance to quickly meet, discuss needs and how they may collaborate.  This is not the time to actually sit down and conduct business. The Marketplace enables both the Buyer and Supplier the opportunity to meet many representatives and then schedule business appointments at other times throughout the convention, and/or following the convention. 

SUPPLIERS  

Suppliers have the option to attend the entire convention and the Buyer/Supplier Marketplace, or to register only for the Buyer/Supplier Marketplace. (Open to all, but there is an additional 500 USD fee if not an IGLTA member.) Registering for the entire convention provides access to multiple additional networking opportunities to build upon the connections made in the Marketplace plus three days of educational sessions to better market to and understand the needs of LGBTQ+ travelers.

Suppliers complete their convention registration and pay the appropriate supplemental fee for the Marketplace at that time. They also must note at the time of registration if they are bringing a second business representative for their company, who will receive 50% off Marketplace registration. BUYERS

All Buyers (travel agencies, outbound tour operators, meeting planners) have to be pre-qualified prior to registering.

Once qualified, buyers will receive registration instructions.

I am really glad it took place at the beginning of the convention because it then allowed time over the next few days to connect with anyone that was interested in further information. The online appointment scheduling was easy to navigate, the table placement was great(never felt like I was on top of or distracted by anyone) , perfect amount of time to connect and then move on, and most important it was great having you give a countdown so everyone was able to stay on time. I cannot think of anything I would do to change it!"
